Everything here is education and experience. None of it is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment for anything.
I am not a doctor and nothing on this site is medical advice. Reading a page here, listening to a recording, coming to a gathering or taking a training does not create a clinical relationship between us. If you have a health question, ask a clinician who knows you and your history. Nothing here replaces care you are already receiving, and nothing here is a reason to stop it.
A gong moves air. A bowl holds a note long enough that you notice your own breathing. That is what I can tell you, and it is what the rest of this site describes.
I do not claim that sound cures, treats or prevents any condition, and I do not promise a particular outcome from a session, a training or a recording. What people find in the room varies, and saying so is honest rather than evasive.
A gathering is physical. You lie on the floor and the instruments are played at volume.
You know your own health and I do not. If you have a medical condition, or any doubt about whether this is right for you, talk to your doctor before you register. I am not a clinician, and whether to take part is your decision rather than mine.
Other people’s words appear on this site, in the directory and beside the trainings. They are accounts of what those people experienced. They are not a forecast of what you will experience, and they are not a promise.
Some of the writing here is about plant medicine, and it is history and education. I studied in Peru and I continue to work there, and what I describe is what a tradition does, in the places where that work is lawful.
Nothing on this site supplies, sells, sources, facilitates or arranges anything, and nothing here is an invitation to break the law where you live. Reporting what a tradition does with a medicine is an account and you will find those here. A promise to you about your own body is not, and you will not.

If any other recommendation on this site becomes a paid arrangement, it gets named on this page and on the page that carries it.
I founded the Huachuma Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, and I chair it. It produces Plant More Worry Less, the podcast I host, so when this site points you at that show it is pointing you at an organisation I run. No money passes between you and me there. I would rather you knew the relationship than found it out later.
This site is operated by Hamid Jabbar PLC, an Arizona professional limited liability company. I am Hamid Jabbar and I own it. When you register for a gathering, arrange mentorship or enrol in a training, your agreement is with Hamid Jabbar PLC, and where these terms protect the company they protect me personally as well.
The writing, the photographs, the recordings and the teaching material on this site are mine unless a page says otherwise. Read them, quote a little with a link back, and share the pages themselves.
Please do not republish a piece whole, sell it, or present it as your own work, and please do not use anything here to train a machine learning model without asking me first.
When you write to me, register for a gathering or submit a listing, you are handing me whatever is in the form. Send what you are comfortable sending.
A directory listing is different from the rest, because you are asking me to publish your name, your photograph and your contact details on a public page, and submitting the form is your consent to that. A listing is a personal recommendation rather than an automatic entry, so a submission is a request rather than a booking. Write to me at any time and I will take a listing down.
Registering tells me you are 18 or over.
A child under 18 is welcome at a gathering when a parent or guardian registers them, comes with them and stays with them for the whole session. In that case the adult accepts these terms on the child’s behalf and stays responsible for them throughout.
If you book more than one place, you accept these terms for yourself and for everyone you register, and you confirm that you have given them these terms and that they agree to them. Where you give me an email address for somebody, I send them their own ticket and a copy of the terms.
Coming to a gathering is also acceptance. Anyone who attends accepts these terms, whether they registered themselves or somebody registered on their behalf, and whether or not a copy reached them by email.
Some links here go to other people’s sites. I choose them because I think they are worth your time. Once you are there you are on their terms and their privacy policy rather than mine.
These are the terms for a gathering you register and pay for on this site. They are short because there are only a few of them, and they are the ones that were missing.
Your money buys my time, the instruments and the room. It does not buy an outcome and it is not a payment for treatment.
Event registration is not refundable, and a place does not transfer to another date. A ticket is for the gathering you chose. Please register for a date you are confident you can keep.
If money is the obstacle, write to me before you register rather than after. Nobody is turned away from a gathering for lack of funds.
If I cancel a gathering or move it to another date, you choose: a full refund, or your place at another gathering. Write to me and tell me which you would prefer. This is the case where money comes back.
Please arrive ten minutes before the start time. A session that has begun is disturbed by someone walking into it, so I close the doors at the start and I cannot take late arrivals. Under the terms above, a missed start is a missed session.
A training deposit and a training fee are not refundable, and a place does not transfer to another run. Your deposit holds your place from the moment you take it, in a group small enough that the place cannot be filled again at short notice. Please book a training you are confident you can attend.
The terms of a particular training, including the deposit, when the balance falls due and what the fee covers, are confirmed with you in writing before you pay anything. If something is unclear before you pay, ask me and I will put the answer in writing.
If I cancel a training, or move it to dates you cannot make, you choose: a full refund, or your place on the next run. This is the case where money comes back.
Mentorship is arranged with you individually, and its terms are confirmed with you in writing before you pay anything.
Gatherings are sometimes photographed or filmed for this site and for social media. Registering for a gathering is your permission to use images that include you. It sits in the same agreement as the terms above, on the registration form, rather than in a separate box.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe and never reaches me. What I see is your name, your email address, what you registered for, and whether the payment succeeded. Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy govern the payment itself.
At a gathering you lie on the floor, you move yourself, and you are in a room with instruments played at volume. You are responsible for your own body in that room: for deciding whether to take part, for moving if you are uncomfortable, and for stepping out if you need to.
By registering for or attending a gathering you accept the risks that come with it, including the volume of the instruments, the physical space, and your own health and condition on the day.
You release Hamid Jabbar PLC and Hamid Jabbar from claims arising out of your attendance, other than for gross negligence or willful misconduct, and you agree to indemnify Hamid Jabbar PLC and Hamid Jabbar against claims brought by anyone you bring with you.
This paragraph is why the registration form asks you to tick a box. I would rather you read it once than agree to it without looking.
This site is offered as it stands. I keep it accurate and current and I cannot promise it is free of mistakes. Where the law allows a limit, my liability to you is limited to what you paid me.
Arizona law governs these terms, and Maricopa County is where a dispute would be heard. There is no arbitration clause here and no class action waiver, and that is deliberate. If something goes wrong between us I would rather talk to you than route you into a process.
The old version of this page described comments, user accounts and Gravatar hashes, none of which exist here. This describes what actually happens.
Your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and what you registered for. If you paid, the record of the payment, without the card number.
If you register other people, the names you give for them, and their email addresses where you give those. I use a guest address to send that person their ticket and a copy of the terms, and for nothing else unless they ask me for something.
Your browser sends the ordinary things: which pages you looked at, roughly where in the world you are, and what device you used. The analytics below collect that.
The registration form has a box you can tick to join the newsletter, unticked to begin with. If you tick it, your email address goes to Flodesk, which is what sends the newsletter, and every one of those emails carries a link to unsubscribe. Leaving it unticked means you hear from me about your registration and nothing else.
There is no comment form on this site and there are no visitor accounts, so none of the things a stock privacy policy usually describes happen here.
The directory is the one place this site publishes somebody’s name, photograph and contact details, and it does that because the practitioner asked to be listed. If you are listed and you want to come off, write to me and you come off.
Seven, and this is all of them.
This site sets cookies for the ordinary reasons: keeping a form working while you fill it in, remembering a session, and keeping a count of visits. Analytics is Google Analytics through Site Kit, and there is a second counter, StatCounter, carried over from the earlier site.
Google reCAPTCHA loads on pages with forms and reads signals from your browser to decide you are a person rather than a script. Your browser settings are where you turn cookies off, and everything here works without them apart from the forms.
A form entry stays in this site’s database until I delete it. Payment records stay with Stripe for as long as their terms require. If you want your details deleted, ask me and I will delete them.
Write to admin@hamidjabbar.com and ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. I answer within thirty days. If you are in California those rights are yours by statute. Asking costs you nothing and changes nothing about how I treat you.
Questions about this page go to admin@hamidjabbar.com. If I change these terms the effective date at the top changes with them, and a change never applies backwards to something you have already paid for.
